We are an information service provider for the poultry industry focusing on

identifying, monitoring, and eliminating the known sources of downgrading,

condemnation, and waste. Our core service is providing the information and

tools to everyone involved in bringing the stock to market so they can limit

their impact on the downgrading and condemnation.

Our History:

Poultry Intellimetrics was started by a turkey grower who was trying to not

only understand his impact on grade but also wanted quantitative

measurements of the impact the farm had on Grade A, whole bird

condemnation, and parts condemnation. What started as a few simple

diagnostic categories on a notebook turned into over 90 individual causes of

downgrading.

Training:

Training in the plant is critical to correctly identify defects but take

appropriate actions to verify the end product is high safe and high quality

with minimal loss of wholesome product. For this reason, we provide training

programs for NPIS sorting, trimming, and grading.

Animal Welfare

For many, many years we have been advocating to treat poultry in a manner

that reduces bruises, broken bones, as a means to lower downgrading, it falls

hand-in-hand with proper animal welfare. We provide animal welfare training

programs for on farm, livehaul, and in the plant. As PAACO certified auditors,
